The songs included on this tape have a special history.

The basic sound sources of these songs were created at the beginning of the nineties. It was a time of experimentation on four-track cassette recorders, reel-to-reel tape loops, vintage analog synths and multi effects pedals.

Some of the first incarnations of these songs appeared on the tape ‘Gil-Galad’, issued in 1995 on my own micro label, Exprel.

Between 2002 and 2006 all this original material was then digitally reworked : re-editing, multiple addition of new sounds and stereo enhancement. Some of the second versions of these tracks have appeared on various compilations between 2007 and 2011.

With the aim to be presented as a new and coherent endeavour, some of the already released songs, in addition to unreleased ones, were completely remastered in 2016.
